Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Vroom(“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Vroomis a personal vehicle expense tracking application. It lets you log vehicles, fuel costs, maintenance expenses, and view statistics. The Service is provided “as is” for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• Accounts are personal; sharing accounts or creating multiple accounts for the same person is not permitted.

4. Your data

You own the data you enter into the Service. We act as a data processor on your behalf. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings → Data & Privacy. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access another user's data.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API.
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise service integrity.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or data accuracy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding a claim (which may be zero for free-tier users).

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the member state in which we are established. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to your rights under local consumer protection law.

9. Changes to these terms

We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
